Print that leaves less behind.

We work to cut the environmental impact of print, ours and our customers'. That means devices that draw far less power, a paper footprint converted into replanted trees, and a service model built to keep engineers off the road and toner out of the bin.

Our commitment

Lower impact, ours and yours.

We run an active environmental policy alongside our ESG programme, and we hold ISO 14001 certification for environmental management. In practice that means measuring and reducing the pollution and carbon our own operations create, then giving customers the hardware and the reporting to do the same with their print.

  • Independently certified. Our environmental management is audited to ISO 14001 through the British Assessment Bureau, not self-declared.
  • Suppliers held to the same bar. Wherever we can, we source from ISO 14001 accredited manufacturers, so devices are made and recycled responsibly whoever supplies them.
  • Heat-free as the alternative to laser. Epson quote up to 96% lower energy use and up to 94% less waste, because nothing is heated to fix ink to the page.

What we are doing

Six things we actually do.

Not targets or intentions. These are running today, across our offices, our fleet and the contracts we hold.

Waste Management

Our onsite compactor crushes our recyclable waste ready for collection by a local waste management provider, so far less goes out loose and far fewer collections are needed.

Reforestation

We have partnered with PrintReleaf, which converts your paper footprint into trees automatically.

Toner Cartridges

We work with manufacturers who run toner recycling schemes and connect you to the service.

Hybrid and Electric Vehicles

95% of our company vehicles are hybrid or fully electric, and we are still converting the rest. Engineers cover Kent, London and Essex, so most journeys are short ones.

Electricity

Sustainable LED lighting is standard across both our Kent and Essex offices.

Remanufacturing

We partner with manufacturers who put recycled materials into new hardware rather than starting from raw.

Reforestation

Your paper, back as trees.

PrintReleaf turns paper consumption into reforestation. We measure how much paper our customers get through, and it converts that figure into native trees planted in certified reforestation projects around the world. Nothing changes about how you work: the calculation runs in the background of a managed print contract, so the offset keeps pace with what you actually print rather than with a figure agreed once at the start.

29 trees a year, at 20,000 pages a month That is 240,000 pages over twelve months, replanted as native trees through PrintReleaf.

PrintReleaf counts one standard tree per 8,333 standard pages. That rate is not an estimate we invented: it is exactly what our own published totals above work out at, 129,130,563 pages against 15,496 trees. Figures here are for scale, not a quotation.

Heat-free printing

What switching has saved so far.

Laser printers heat every page to fix toner to it, and that heat is where most of the energy goes. Heat-free inkjet does not, so the same work costs less power, needs fewer parts and takes fewer engineer visits. Here is what our customers who made the switch have saved between them.

Service and toner

Fewer callouts, less waste.

The greenest engineer visit is the one nobody had to make. We monitor machines remotely so toner arrives just before it runs out rather than sitting in a cupboard, and so a good share of faults are fixed without anyone driving anywhere.

See Print Management
  • Toner sent just in timeRemote monitoring tells us when a machine is close to empty, so we dispatch on need instead of on guesswork. Less overstock, less waste.
  • Around 25% of faults fixed remotelyOur service centre in Kent resolves roughly a quarter of machine malfunctions without an engineer visit at all.
  • Local engineers, planned routesWe keep engineers close to the customers they cover and use GPS to plan journeys, which cuts miles driven per call.
  • Parts carried on boardEngineers stock a good range of general spares in their vehicles, so a second trip is rarely needed.
Recycling

Compacted cardboard, 2023 and 2024.

Every device we deliver arrives in packaging. Our onsite compactor means that cardboard leaves as a dense recyclable bale rather than as loose waste.

17.59 tonnesOf cardboard recycled, from our own operations alone.
16,900kg of CO2The equivalent saving, or approximately 76,404 trees.
11,571 homesEnough energy to power that many homes for a year.
